Mallee Wooden The font Mallee Wooden was produced in 2009. Originally designed by a South Australian studio, the designer took his inspiration from some old wood-block lettering. The font was published as a free-download for promotion of a rural community initiative, this font was produced in 2009. Our role in the process was to take the designer's vision and turn it into a working font file. The font's design combines an Australian outback sensibility with elements of the Wild West.
