Demented Avenger was created by dragging a stick dipped in ink across rough-fibred paper. The aim was to create a typeface with a combined crime scene and spy-thriller appearance, in a similar style to the font Confidential.
The name Demented Avenger comes from a Pink Floyd lyric, chosen because it suited the wacky spy-thriller appearance of the font.
