This font arose out of experiments to create ink-based lettering for an identity project. The letters were created by dragging a stick dipped in black ink across various types of paper, with designer Wayne Thompson eventually settling on toilet paper. The super-absorbent nature of this medium meant the letter shapes were entirely random, and completely uncontrolled by design.
