This font was created as part of the identity of a major international sporting event* which happened on the Gold Coast, Queensland in 2018. The font’s starting point was the brandmark for this event, developed by the appointed design agency. The digital typeface emulates a connecting script through the use of hundreds of built-in ligatures, some of which connect 3 or 4 letters. This font was produced in a single weight and used as a feature typeface in programs, signage and mobile apps throughout the event.
