James Squire’s agency had been using some handmade calligraphy as part of the wider branding approach to their packaging across a range of carry packs and cartons. They asked ATF to help them extend the small sample of characters into a full Opentype typeface incorporating a series of ligatures and alternates which enhance the handmade character of the typeface.
